The Buffered C Mask
Making home made masks is so much fun and incredibly easy! The Buffered C Mask is one of my favorite face and neck masks. My buffered Vitamin C also contains Magnesium which is very soothing for the skin. It makes a great exfoliator as well if you massage it onto the skin for about a minute. It’s a little messy but very rewarding in the end!
Step 1: You need 1 tablespoon of buffered Vitamin C or you can crush some Vitamin C pills in a plastic baggie
Step 2: Mix the 1Tbsp of buffered Vitamin C with 1 tablespoon of water and two liquid pills of vitamin E or CoQ10 until the mixture makes a paste and foams up.
Step 3: Apply to face and neck with fingertips and massage in circular motions until desired. Allow to dry for 10 to 15 min
Step 4: Rinse with warm water and pat your face dry with a clean towel
Step 5: Moisturize with a good all natural face cream. I like to use Derma E Wrinkle Cream (Wholefoods carries it for $12)
Tip: To puncture the liquid pills for the mask, I bite a tiny incision with my teeth to open it up or you can use grooming scissors to puncture a hole but please be careful not to cut yourself.
