Recipes

Healthy Burrito Bowl
While most burrito joints are absolutely delicious, their ingredients can contain copious amounts of sodium and oils. To avoid the mystery and create a cheaper, healthier version, make your own at home! This recipe is simple and easy to make!

Spicy Grilled Tilapia
Although I’m a total dessert fanatic, I suppose REAL food is important too.. *sigh* It’s important to consume enough protein to maintain and build lean, strong muscle. Here is one of my go-to, super-easy tilapia recipes! Tilapia is very easy to cook and it’s hard to go wrong with spices, as it’s a very bland fish on its own. This recipe will leave you loving this dynamic little fishy!

Healthy Chicken Fajitas
Here is my favorite healthy chicken recipe! Enjoy!

Spicy Stir-Fried Asparagus and a Little Asparagus History
Everything you would ever want to know about asparagus… plus a delicious recipe to try!

The other day I was craving a frozen sweet treat. This recipe is SUPER simple and easy….. AND it fit my macros!

Rich Chocolate Protein Mug Brownie
I promise you, this recipe it is to die for. And as usual… it’s chocolate & peanut butter (my favorite!). But the GREAT thing about THIS recipe, is that if chocolate & PB isn’t your cup of tea, you can use any flavored protein powder you want and top with things other than peanut butter! Use your imagination and get creative!

Easy & Healthy Protein Pancakes
One of the childhood things I miss on occasion is pancakes! That’s why I have experimented day in and day out until I perfected a protein pancake recipe. There are so many online, and for the life of me I couldn’t get them right. But this one has finally won me over!

Healthy Peanut Butter & Banana Cake
If you’re anything like me, you grew up loving sugar. Candy, cookies, cake… whatever you could get your hands on. However as we mature and grow, we come to realize that living off of cocoa pebbles and cupcakes is not only unrealistic.. it’s incredibly unhealthy (darn it!). The good news is, with the right ingredients, you can “have your cake and eat it too”. Having one of those childhood sugar cravings? Give this healthy cake a try!

Chocolate Black Bean Protein Brownies
Rather than deprive myself, I’ve learned to transform some of my favorite desserts into healthy treats! I know “black beans” might not sound like an appetizing brownie ingredient, but trust me on this one! They’re packed with fiber and protein which leaves you feeling full and satisfied… and their chocolatey punch truly delivers a sweet-tooth satisfying dessert!

Muffin Topless Rich Chocolate Protein Bars
Most store-bought protein bars are basically just candy bars with protein in them. The majority are loaded with chemicals and sugar which are NOT conducive to a lean, healthy body. Instead of ingesting these harmful ingredients, try making your own bars at home where YOU have control over the ingredients that go into them! Give my all-natural, clean-eating protein bars a try!

Banana Spice Protein Muffins
Growing up, I remember that around the time school started up again my mom would bake banana bread. I can still smell the wonderful aroma that wafted through the house and it conjures up memories of back-to-school clothes, fresh pencils and new books. I recently got a craving for this old-taste-treat and decided to make a cleaned up version for myself!

  1. Hi Savannah!

I was wondering if you have any recipes(more specifically protein shakes) that involves bananas or other types of fruit!
I am not a huge fan of peanut butter nor (here’s the killer) chocolate.

    Thanks!
    Brydgett :)
