Love that you made a web page!!! Super cute & inspiring. I love relaxing and checking out your workout and meal ideas. Keep it up!
Love that you made a web site!! You were one of the first tumblers that I came across and have been following you ever since. Its so great to flip through your workout and recipe ideas. Keep it up!
I’m so glad you like it! I most definitely will!
I’m so happy to hear that Christie! =D
Hello there!
I have found your site and new web page very informative. Especially the “skinny-fat” part. I eat healthy and exercise but in my weight loss part of my rib cage seems to be more noticeable. Not the whole rib cage or anything but coming into bikini season I don’t feel like hearing from people how I’m getting ‘too skinny”. (I’m 5’7″ and 130lbs)
How can I tell if I’m Skinny-fat or just fit?
Thank you so much for posting this website. I’ve been following you on Tumblr for a while now and I always look forward for an update. Now that I’m in college, I’m trying to avoid gaining weight and start eating healthy. This is helping me a ton and your website is now bookmarked as favorite! Thanks again.
Im loving your new website! I have been a follwer on tumblr for a while now and and always tell my friends how insipiring it has been in my fitness journey. I became vegan for ethical reasons however, so the diet part has always been tricky since I still eat processed foods like tofu. This may not be your area of expertise, but I was wondering if you had any pointers.
You’re very welcome Antonia!! I’m so glad you found my Tumblr and now my website helpful! <3
So glad you have a webpage! It looks great
Would love to read up on HIIT training if you are ever looking for ideas for things to wrote about!
Thank you Rachel! As a matter of fact, I’m making a list right now. I’ll add that for sure!
Pictures or videos from the exercises would be great! I’m german and my english is unaware, sometimes I really don’t know exactly how the exercises are meant, there’s not always a translation for every word. Apart from that loving your page!
Hi I was wondering the importance of using protein powder since you use it a lot in the recipes and you recommend drinking the protein shake after a workout. Is it really necessary?
Congrats on your new webpage Loving it
I am your fallower on FB & instagram you are very inspiring , Im a chocolate/peanut butter lover & I have to thank you for the most amazing casein pudding ever I love it I can’t go bed with out of it lol !!! Also tried the peanut butter cockies and OMG sooooo delicious
they are dengerous lol !!! ………… Doing a great job keep it up girl !
Check out the article I wrote about whey in my supplements section! =)
Do you have any at home workouts?? So glad I found this site!! You are inspirational!!!
I can follow the strict diet and the workouts but what if I like to drink. I don’t mind cutting back but I just don’t think it would be 100% realistic for me to stop drinking especially it being summer time i.e., beach, pools, bars…etc
I’m 100% willing to stop taking shots because of all the extra sugar but can I still have the occasional beers?
Also, I love your website… I have changed my eating habits and workout routine and feel amazing…
Thank you for inspiring me!

nevermind, found it!
do you have to eat everything listed? Just curious because the breakfast is alot. Also, are we suppose to drink a protein shake along with the 2 snacks when we work out? Thanks so much!
I love your blog! I am a new mom and finally (2 months pp) getting back into my fitness routine. I have never done weights before but you have inspired me! I am unable to bring my baby to the gym (the childcare there costs too much), what weights can you recommend I get for in home exercise? What types and how many lbs? THANKS
Im going to try this clean eating lol. I use to be 300lbs and have gone down to 190lbs on my own without working out, just cuting my eating in half. Im stuck now and not losing anything. Im going to try your eating tips and workout advice and see what happens. Thank you for this site. It has everything everyone needs without being overwhelming.
Is there any benefit to mixing up the muscles you work in a given day? Like, I do back/bi, chest/tris, shoulders/core, and legs. would it make sense for one week to train different muscles on the same day?
Sure! Keeping your body guessing is a great way to continue improving. That’s one way to do it. =)
I have PowerBlocks at my house which are pretty awesome. They’re an investment but it might be worth it in the long run! =)
You say to give up alcohol (very good advice!) and I don’t drink very frequently at all. But are there some alcoholic drinks that are better than others to indulge in on cheat days?
I find your blog really inspirational!! I’m really interested in starting to use weights, but I really don’t know where to begin. Joining a gym isn’t an option for me, so I will be doing this at home. I have lost about 40 lbs so far, I would like to lose another 20lbs. Any suggestions???
Hi! I have a question about cheeses. I am like, mildly obsessed with cheese. I basically want to eat it all the time. I’m currently working on a transition to clean eating and I was wondering if you had any suggestions about what to gravitate toward/stay away from in the cheese section. Thanks! I love your blog/tumblr! You are such an inspiration to me!
I was wondering why you do not eat fruit.
First off, thank you so much for creating this site. Whenever I go to the gym I feel super lost and usually don’t know what to do. The way you lay everything out is great and easy to follow. My question has to do with the sets. If it says 4×10 do you do 10 reps, rest, then start again or do you do 10 reps, move on to the next exercise, and then come back to it after you’ve completed the other exercises? If the first is the case, then how do the supersets work. Also I’m currently on deployment and don’t have access to a lot of the foods you list but I’m making it work with the basics. Would vanilla soy milk be ok instead of almond milk or should I just order it from somewhere online? Thanks again for all your help!
How long did it take you to achieve the look in your first fitness shoots compared to the photos in college?
I was curious… I have your workouts/schedule from your site, but after awhile, shouldn’t I change it up so that my muscles do not get used to the same moves? I am what you might call a “skinny fat” person – I weigh about 120 but want to tone up more, so I was just curious as to what your advice would be/what you do to keep the workouts going after a long period of time so that your muscles do not get bored.
Thanks!

They all have their upsides and downsides. I personally would go with a small glass of red wine.
hey, first of all I would just like to say you are a huge inspiration to me in my fitness journey! I was just wondering, what are your thoughts about working out when you’re sick for example with a chest or head cold?
Hey there,
Couple of questions for you!
Im very active but I recently started a college program that’s 8am-4pm mon through fri and I work about 4 days a week at 5pm to 11 or midnight. Any ideas on how to keep my metabolism up during the day? Sometimes I just can’t wake up early enough to get my workout/cardio in. And second question, I stay up late studying, any decent snack ideas that wont kill my diet? Mostly I chose cottage cheese for night if coffee doesn’t kill my appetite haha thanks girl!
I was wondering if you had a trainer at all during your weight loss or if you did it on your own? Also, I am interested in learning about the body and nutrition. Do you recommend any books that helped you start this journey?
You’ve been such a big inspiration to me to start lifting! I use to be one of those people who was a slave to cardio machines – now I’m confident with a dumbbell in each hand! Would love to see what a day of meals is like for you since you’ve gained muscle recently. I’m a VERY healthy eater (minus my sweet teeth) and workout on a regular basis but am not quite getting everything in check to see the results I desire. So a post on a day in the life of your meals would be awesome if you get the chance!
Thanks!
Motivate and Educate!
I just wanted to say I love your site and blog!!! Your workout challenge has really given me some direction in the gym. Otherwise I’d just be walking around aimlessly picking up a free weight or two. I’ve made myself little packets of each day, and the explanations/photos from bodybulding.com. I’m just getting started and I can’t wait to see the outcome!!!
Hi Just wanted to say your website is awesome and really inspiring I have only recently started my healthy lifestyle wanting to ultimately get fitter and loose some weight
I love how you have such a positive attitude towards being healthy and you’re right it doesn’t have to be boring!! Just wondering how many calories in your recipes for – Rich Chocolate Protein Mug Brownie, Rich Chocolate Protein FroYo & Chocolate Peanut Butter Cup SLUDGE ??? Really keen to try these and going to my local health food store this week
I want to try the MLT Summer Challenge and I was wondering how to turn the daily lifting schedule into a dumbbell only workout.
Your blog is awesome! So much great info! I want to start taking supplements but there is so many different ones. Can you give like a regimen like product names & stuff please. Or something to follow. Thank you your awesome!
Savannah,
I just wanted to THANK YOU for what you do! I’ve struggled for years (you have no idea how long), battling the ups and downs of losing weight and trying to maintain what I could lose. Recently (Fall 2012), I discovered that I had an intolerance to gluten and dairy – of course, this news was actually a blessing in disguise (crazy, right?) – in that it forced me to research different foods, vitamins, recipes, etc., to see what would fit me best. Luckily, I’ve always maintained a very active lifestyle (thanks to my parents), so exercise has always been a part of my life and daily routine. When I discovered you – your brand, your blog, your Instagram, etc., it showed me a different kind of healthy – a lifestyle healthy. I’ve always struggled with getting down to a certain number, a “look” if you will. I have now realized that a number doesn’t really matter, it’s how you feel on the inside and out. What an incredible feeling to finally realize this! Haha.
Thanks to you, I have started seriously lifting weights, while keeping up my usual cardio and healthier eating. I wake up incredibly sore and full of joy in the mornings and I can’t wait until the afternoon to get my lifts/cardio in. Thank you for continuing to be an inspiration for those around you and for women like me. I never felt “good enough” until I realized that I hadn’t met my limits, yet. The human body is an incredible and beautiful machine and you’ve made me realize that I can fully harness what it was created for – oh, the wonderful potential!
I apologize for this lengthy post (I actually tried messaging you, eh) – but I had to express to you how incredibly grateful I am for your continued effort in helping people. You have an awesome talent and I wish you the very best in your future endeavors!
- Samantha
Your posts/blog/videos everything are always awesome! I’ve noticed so many changes for me since I started following you!
I practice yoga A LOT but still incorporate weights, cardio, intervals, etc into my daily activities/exercises. I was curious if you would consider hot yoga, not Bikram but a hot vinyasa flow class to be a cardio exercise and could I use a class for my cardio day?
